The Fact a Day:
The first puppet dates back to the 5th century BC in Ancient Greece. There are many different types of puppets. They were developed independently in many parts of the world. Some well known types are human-arm puppets, marotte, marionette, body puppets, Bunraku puppetry, and shadow puppetry.
