In today’s fact we learn about Beeswax! Mr. Toes teaches us how bees make beeswax and you’re not going to guess how.
The Fact a Day:
Did you know that…To make 1 pound of beeswax, Honey Bees must consume about 17-20 pounds of honey. Worker bees will eat the honey, and by keeping the temperature of the hive high enough it will allow them to convert sugar from honey into beeswax by basically sweating it out of their pores.
