In today’s fact we learn about Worker Honey Bees! Mr. Toes teaches us about how long honey bees live and even gets a little help around the house!
The Fact a Day:
Did you know that…Worker Honey Bees have a short lifespan. During the spring & summer months they only live about 4 weeks, but during the winter months can live for up to 6 months! During that time they forage for pollen and nectar, tend to queens and drones, feed larvae, and ventilate the hive.
