Did you know that…The Polka’s dance roots can be traced back to a Czech dance in the 1830’s. However, music with polka’s characteristics appeared around the year 1800! Polka’s continued popularity can be attributed to WWII where US Soldiers got introduced to Polka while serving in Europe.
