In today’s fact we learn about Solar Panels! Mr. Toes teaches us how a Solar Panel generates electricity.
The Fact a Day:
Did you know that…When a photon sent by the sun hits the top of a solar cell, the electrons become attached to the surface of the cell. This causes a voltage between the top and bottom of a cell. That energy is then converted from DC energy into usable AC energy and stored in batteries!
