Overview:
In today’s fact we learn about Dolphins! Mr. Toes teaches us why the Amazon River Dolphins are pink. He even has a special guest star who tries to take over the show!

The Fact a Day:
The Amazon River Dolphin, or Boto is unique in that the males can be pink! The coloring is believed to be scar tissue from fighting or games. The brighter the pink the more attractive males are to females during mating season. The dolphins may also turn pink when excited similar to a human when blushing.
