In today’s fact we learn about Salt! Mr. Toes teaches us about how Salt turns ice back into water. Its not how you would think though.

The Fact a Day:
Salt doesn’t actually melt ice. It actually lowers the freezing point of water which prevents the water from holding its shape as ice crystals. It then turns back into liquid water in a process called “Freezing point Depression”.
