In today’s fact we learn about Dinosaurs! Mr. Toes teaches us what the name Dinosaur actually means and where it came from.

The Fact a Day:
The word Dinosaur came about in 1842 when an English man named Sir Richard Owen came up with “Dinosauria”. It comes from the Greek words “Denios” which means “Fearfully Great” and Sauros” which means Lizard. The common translation today is “Terrible Lizards”.
